Background:
CPH started in 1983 with a small wine shop. Today, the group has 5 shops and commercialises 900,000 bottles a year, from a logistic hub located in the Marne.
Export specialist:
A few years ago, we noticed two things:
- on the one hand, some of our producers wished to export their produce but did not have the right organisation;
- on the other hand, certain importers came up against several problems, when they wished to buy from these small producers in France-the language, limited logistic skills, minimum quantities for important orders, high administrative charges, etc.
We serve as the specialised interface between them, whilst benefiting the importers with advantageous tariffs, negotiated on the large quantities, which we buy for the France market. This range includes 300 wines from all the winemaking regions that our customers select, as they want when ordering.
This concept of a single specialised interlocutor simplifies and reduces the costs of the management of orders.
Champagne production:
We also offer our own champagne: Champagne Pierre Habert (CPH), which is homage to Mr. Pierre Habert, born in 1882, who was the great grandfather of our director and was a wine lover. The name of the cuvees, “Fleur d’Arôme” expresses femininity and pureness. This name is somehow a wink to the arum aroma being sometimes found in the finest champagnes
Our champagnes come from the most famous terroirs of the Marne: Montagne de Reims, Côte des Blancs and Vallée de la Marne.
Our Grand Cru d’Ambonnay, silver medal winner at the 2006 Japan Wine Challenge in Tokyo, and at the 2006 London Wine Challenge in London is one of our flagship cuvées.
